  • 9:00 to 9:30    Advocacy Training with a focus on Speaking with Legislators- GA Auditorium

  • 9:30 to 11:15  Gather, report from appointments, connect- GA Auditorium

  • 11:15               Gather for march to Rally- GA Auditorium

  • 12:00 to 12:20 Rally  & Cake in the Rotunda

                                              Moment of Remembrance- (Please send names of those who have lost their lives to
                                              substance abuse and/ or violence in 2009 to action@wasavp.org prior to the event.)

This promises to be an exciting legislative session for the Prevention Community, please come out on the 18th to show the Legislature we are unified in our message that The Prescription for Saving $$ is Prevention!
 
Please stay tuned for more specific information regarding legislation and efforts to preserve and increase funding for our work.
 
If you are unable to attend the Prevention Advocacy Day please still take the time to contact your Legislators as soon as possible to let them know the importance of your work and the extent of the savings made when investing in prevention.
